^^Crazy Plant Lady is absolutely right! And I'm sure you already know this, but you will have an entirely new variety of apple.

Be careful not to overwater while it's young. It needs moisture, but it also won't use it as fast as a larger plant. Also if you're raising it outdoors, protect it from squirrels and other little critters
