# Yall. I have been through a lot with this plant. I’m close to giving…

Yall. I have been through a lot with this plant. I’m close to giving up on her. She had a bad fungus gnat problem I fixed it and she was doing well and for the past month her leaves are weak and limp. And they just keep dying off. Plz someone help me on what to do. Otherwise propagating is the last resort.

i’ve given up on every tradescantia I’ve had. it’s always the same for me — they fake me out with all this incredible growth and then one day they change their mind. i think they might need more stringently consistent care than i am willing to provide (although people also talk about how easy they are)

I don’t have the touch! I can live with that 😂

I have had people say the same thing. But I think I met my match with the first plant I just can’t make happy😂

If its limp I'm guessing it either needs more water or it has root rot. I let mine dry out all the way before I water again and so far they are fine. But I've only had them for a couple months. I actually got them as rooted cuttings from a nursery for free😉
