Thank you, is it supposed to brown like that ? He used to cut it down a lot wanted it to look like a bonsai. I want to let her grow hopefully I can get her a bigger pot soon

Also known as a Shefflera. I have two and they both have the browning on the trunk. I've had them for two or three years now and they seem to be OK like that so it must be normal. 😁
