I’m in Florida to visit family, and there was a mango tree in the front. Then I thought, “ I could grow one in a big pot back in Texas so I grab 2 seeds from the ground. I’m going back in 3 days so ima plant one.

I’ve done this as well. Only trouble I ran into was mold growing on the seed while I was trying to get it to germinate. I hope you have a better time! 😅

I love the idea I have I used to have a mango seed and all I know this is my personal experience. I’m in Illinois so but it depends where you are in Texas if you’re like in the panhandle… good luck

Mango grow in Austin, but it’s tricky. You need to use containers and bring them indoors during winter varieties like Glenn or Hayden might work best.
