Been propagating these little spider plants for 4 weeks now. On the right the roots have started to sprout roots but on the left only the main roots have sprouted. The left is considerably bigger than the right. Is this ok? Should I start thinking about potting them in soil or keep them in here for a while they seem to like it 🪴

I would keep them in longer, but that’s just my personal preference to see those roots grow more! 😁they are so cute!

Thanks ☺️ yeah I was thinking the same. The roots are coming through nicely

They are! I have several things in water right now rooting so well too! But not a spider plant! I only have 1 and it’s a little one still! 😁

You can put them into soil at anytime. Spider babies don’t need water propagation to put out roots. I put several straight into the soil after clipping it from the mother plant.

You can definitely move to soil. Or if you enjoy watching the roots consider adding something like perlite to the bottom so the roots are more adapted to having a substrate when you transfer

That’s a handy trick. I’ll do that! Thank you

If you feel that soil was still a little bit too hard for it with those baby roots, you can actually put it in pearlite and then get stronger roots to move it into dirt.
