# Hi all! As a beginner, I have a question for all of the plant gurus…

Hi all! As a beginner, I have a question for all of the plant gurus out there. So my living space is not ideal for most plants (I live in a basement, only get light at specific times, wall ac units) but I want to keep plants alive!

Are there any plants people would recommend for my kind of environment?

Are you able to purchase grow lights with timers. This would allow a much broader selection of plants that would do just fine

Snake plant or the zz can do well in little to no light but give them the light they can have
