So, this is my first time having a lady Valentine flower, but she is still kind of small and I would like her to focus on leaf growth, so I have two questions:

1\. Should I nip the flower?

And

2\. In the case that I should, at what point and where should I do that for this type of plant?

Yes, cut back the flower as low as you can on its stem \& also cut back any small “baby” leafs
