I am new to being a plant parent and I am loving it!!  
This is my arrowhead I’ve have for a couple months now, the two leaves don’t look happy at all and I don’t know if the brown marks on the stem are normal, if someone could help me out that’d be great I’m worried about him 😥

I don’t have a arrowhead but I do have a vine plant like that  
and in my experience the brown spots are normal  
i think it’s protecting itself by becoming more woody  
but I could definitely be wrong  
mine seems to be doing fine tho

The leaves are probably a watering issue  
maybe a sun issue but probably water  
i don’t know what the needs of this plant are but that is what my pothos looks like when I overwatered it

Definitely look up and watch a YouTube video or to before you stop watering it

I have an arrowhead I inherited and have been struggling with it for a year. Despite following all the guidance I can find…are they really sensitive or is it me?

Idk but a lot of plants will throw a fit until they have the perfect routines especially if they grow up in a different location and are moved or at least in my experience

They love to act like little kids 😂

Low humidity and dry soil cause leaves to droop and brown on their edges but funny thing, so can overwatering! Tell us about drainage and soil texture. Is there drainage and is it draining property when you water?

Yes and yes… or at least I believe so 😅 I know that his soil is dry,  
I had a problem with mold on the top layer so I gave him new soil as quickly as possible and watered him a little last week.  
I believe the mold was caused by me overwatering but I could be wrong.

Mold is usually an indication that the soil can’t dry up for some reason. You repotted last week so it needs recovery time from that. Don’t let the soil get too dry. Water when 50%-75% of the soil volume is dry. Water until liquid flows through the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot and discard any water that has accumulated in the saucer.  
Also - it wants temps 65°-80° so don’t let it get too cold.

I have had a few syngoniums and they have been a bit picky with me though I know others who have them and they love them! but I would water when the top 75% soil is dry and thoroughly wet the soil. and those brown marks on the stems are perfectly normal.
