I recently reported and relocated my avocado tree and it looks terrible now. Leaves have browned and fallen off. I’ve read to cut it back 1/3 to encourage new growth but I’m so nervous about doing that and doing it properly. Can someone please provide some advice on where to go from here. I’ve grown it from a seed over the past 2 years…not ready to give up on her. Thanks!!

It might be going through shock. If you just repotted and moved its locations. Give her some time and see if she bounces back before you chop

My avocado plant I grew from seed kept growing new leaves and then dropping the old ones. I did the big chop! It’s early on but there are two new growth points
