# 2 Questions... 1) Should I be concerned with how far the 2 left…

2 Questions...

1\) Should I be concerned with how far the 2 left leaves are leaning?

2\) Is the pot too small?

It's been doing really good, just put out a beautiful new leaf last week: but the two leaves I've pointed out are concerning me a bit. I've had to put a chopstick in the soil to keep it from tilting down with the leaves. Is this normal? I've seen people use poles to help stabilize but don't know if that's need here or if it's even big enough for one. Would repotting it into a slightly bigger pot, and deeper down be a better option?  
Sorry for the potentially silly questions. I'm very new to monsteras (only had this guy for a month) so any tips are appreciated! Thanks 🙏🏻🌿

The 2 leaves are most likely stretching towards your window, assuming window is the side there growing towards, think pot is ok for now as your more likely see roots coming through soil, or out the hole in the bottom of the pot, another way to know if it’s root bound is when you water it pretty much runs straight out drain hole, I see it looks like you got a grow light to right, add a support pole when it’s due a repot, normally a coco moss pole, or type of trellis

Yes those two are facing the window. I have several grow lights but I know those aren’t even close to as good as some good sunshine. I can try moving it closer to the window.  
I don’t think it’s root bound, the water still takes a bit to start draining out of the bottom so I’ll wait off a bit on repotting and look into getting a pole or something for the future.
