Question… how do you balance repotting and sizing up with your grow pot outgrowing your decorative pots? I’ve been able to shuffle a few things around, but a lot of my grow pots aren’t the right size for my cache pots and now I’ve got lots of empty cache pots with bigger plants that are naked! Help!!

It can get expensive buying new pots. Shop for new ones at end of season sales. Check Facebook Marketplace and local apps like Nextdoor and OfferUp for used pots in the sizes you want in your local area. You can also sell your unwanted pots. 🪴🍀

Thrift stores are also a great place!

I just always have 3-10 random pots just hanging out waiting for the right plant. Especially bonsai pots since i buy nice ones when i come across them and have to wait multiple years for the intended tree to grow into them

I find that going to stores like home goods and Marshall’s have a lot of good pots for around $5-$10 a decorative pot. Right now they don’t have many because it is turning into winter and all the space is taken up by Christmas stuff but in the spring and summer there are a ton.

Anytime I see nice discounted or cheap decorative pots I buy them so I can usually find one that fits but when I can’t I just make sure to have a bunch of different sized plastic saucers to use so that I don’t damage any furniture in the meantime, doesn’t look as pretty but it works!

I have been making mine. I invested in a 3D printer and now make all sorts of characters that I feel the plants would like. lol

Good grief! You are techie! I’d have no idea where to start! I’ll just keep “junkin” all the aforementioned place to get mine! Kudos to you👏👏
