Hey guys so my mom got this African violet plant not too long ago and I she was told to bottom water it but it isn’t looking the best so I was wondering if your supposed to water it normally in addition to bottom watering please and thank you!!

No to my knowledge bottom watering is just a different watering technique and not an additional step

It actually looks perfectly healthy to me! The flowers dying is completely normal. How long are you letting it sit in the water?

I keep it in water and when in runs out I refill it it’s just sitting in a small dish

I agree with Riley, I think it’s fine. Just pinch off the dead flowers!
