Is ZZ Oscura different from Raven? I picked up a little guy today, but I’m not seeing this specific type in the Planta database.

I’m wondering if it’s that game that cultivators play with names to get around copyright infringement

This is very likely the case. I’m relatively certain Costa Farms still owns the patent for Raven ZZ, so if a major retailer tries to use that name and they didn’t source the plant from Costa, they could get sued.
