# Serial plant killer here trying to reform. My son told me about this…

Serial plant killer here trying to reform. My son told me about this app and it has been helping him keep his plants healthy. I love plants…..to death! I’m hoping this app and community can help me grow great plants. What do you recommend for indoor plant fertilizer. 1 succulent. 3 “plants” and a “baby” lemon tree I’m growing from a seed.

one recommendation for this plant app: do NOT follow its watering schedule! it’s not accurate. always check the soil of your plants before you water using a chopstick or skewer (like a cake test). do NOT use a moisture meter. they don’t work!

second, I use Foliage Pro for all of my indoor houseplants every time I water. it’s not strong enough to burn them and safe to use with every watering.

I use FoxFarm Grow Big for my plants - I’ve also used an organic sea kelp (plus fish poop) that worked really well.

This app has helped me immensely keep plants alive! There is a lot of info in the paid version (to me it’s worth it). I used to kill plants over and over and over again (mostly overwatering, I think). During the pandemic I needed something to do and I’m not looking back now!

People are really helpful here AND always do a bit of your own research.
