Need help

My Rex Begonia is starting to wither. Does anyone know why? It was so full and lush and then all of a sudden I am losing leaves almost daily. I’m so sad because she was so full and a favorite. Had her since maybe June of this year and just these last two weeks she is downhill fast.

Possibly overwatered. That seemed to be the answer to all my plant woes last summer and I lost a couple to root rot.  
Maybe look at its roots to be sure it isn’t that.
