Home Depot or a local nursery

Mainly from my school or getting them as a gift since a lot of shops over here don’t do plants.

Most of my plants are bought online (Etsy, Steve’s Leaves, Canopy Plants, Gabriella Plants, Plant Proper)

I get mine mostly online too, the big box stores don’t have the varieties I like and like SR said whenever I check them they are full of pests or have root rot

Sheridan Nurseries is my preferred shop. I’ve tried Home Depot and Bestco to varying degrees of success - I find the big box stores tend to have sicklier plants that come with pests, more often than not.

home depot \& lowe’s for the most part. i’ve had really good luck with it, but you definitely have to dig a little deeper

I like to play the ‘free plants’ game by finding all of the knocked off leaves or vines and propagating them. It challenges me with learning how to grow it and watching the entire growth cycle is pretty awesome too.

Other than that I go to nurseries. Last time I got some plants from Home Depot or Lowe’s they surprised me by having centipedes/millipedes/other critters in them so now I’m scared to bring full plants home😂😂😂 (I live in an apartment)

Anywhere I see them.

I hit up the local greenhouses when I’m in the neighborhood…. Also the grocery store…. Sometimes online if I want a specific plant I haven’t found locally. I bought a couple plants from FB Marketplace, one shipped, one I picked up in person.

I’m lucky to have several nice greenhouses nearby.

I’ve seen a mini cactus and a succulent in Poundland before.. sadly didn’t get one but I wish I did! They probably were just thrown out!
