Yep that's where you'd cut! Leave the cutting out to calluses for a few hours and then put it in water. Change the water when it's nasty and just leave it be ### KJM님이 2025-02-26에 댓글을 남겼어요. I agree, that's the right spot. You can propagate in water or you can also propagate in soil. I would let it dry for more than an hour though maybe overnight. Then dust it with a little rooting hormone and plant it. With that shape, you would not be able to put it too far down in the soil which is fine but you may need to give the top portion support until it grows roots and becomes more established. I know water propagation is common and it works but I prefer to propagate directly into the soil because I'm lazy and I don't have to move it into a pot. ### Annie님이 2025-02-26에 댓글을 남겼어요. This is a totally fine way to prop and it sounds like you’re being very conscientious, so I’m sure it’ll go well. Something to consider for next time: look up air layering.
