I have a zz plant that seems to have some issues. I have two stems in a pot that have gained these divits or ridges. It’s very strange. I’m going to open her up tomorrow to check out the roots and repot it. Wanted to see if anyone here experienced this or has advice. It’s a plant at my office that doesn’t get any real sunlight, just artificial office lighting. It’s usually been ok though! So this was just new to me.

mineral deposits. you should be able to wipe them off if so. if not, could be a sign of mealybugs

How do you treat those cause I think I have them on my money tree🥲

wipe down with alcohol, then treat with a systemic insecticide. continue until they all disappear. you have to treat the plant multiple times to kill both the eggs and the mature bugs.
