getting so tired of restarting plants with root mealies :( they’ve become the bane of my existence and it’s ruining how relaxing this usually is for me.

ughhhh

anyone else going through winter bugs?

yes the bugs are driving me crazy!

You could try releasing some lady bug species. They love mealie larvae

I’ve considered it but a lot of the mealies I’ve found are beneath the soil. I didnt even know i had them until i pulled a whole plant out and it was fully infested :((

Eeww I'm sorry. There are some predatory nematodes, as well as mites that burrow. It might be an option. Try Koppert or Natural Enemies

I feel your pain. I brought in fungus gnats and I’m not sure which plant has them. It was only 3 adults I saw last week. So, not a major infestation. I will let all plants dry out a couple of weeks and resume using mosquito bits in the water. They got a lot of rainwater before bringing them indoors. 🍀🪴

Ahhhh those are the most annoying! Have you ever had them fly up your nose during watering?? That’s happened to me and it’s like a core memory when ever i see anything fly around my plants now 💀

alright I’ve rose shielded and captain jack’d everything. tossed 6 plants total. 💀
