Hey all! I’m in Zone 7 and am starting my first flower garden this year. I’ve decided to direct sow instead of start the seeds inside. When’s the best time to do this?

I'm in 6a/b... but generally our last frost is over Mid April, and that's when I plant outside

A good place to look is your farmers almanac. There's online versions. But they Forcast weather for your state and predict when you should plant. Even down to what types should be sown when.

I’m in 8 and am doing it now! I’d say the next few weeks would be. Good time as long as you have no more freezing temps coming
