just got these lavender plants today from walmart, theyre looking a little sad to say the least but are they salvageable? theres some dead spots in the middle of one of them but the other ones looking a little better so idk. i have a good sunny spot on my back porch and am planning on moving them to be in a pot together thats about a foot or so in diameter. i also wasnt able to get better soil today (was probably gonna get cactus soil) so will they be ok for a few days until i can repot them?
this is my first time growing lavender so any advice would be really helpful :)

They should be fine when you move them. I wouldn’t go more than 2-3 days though

When you do plant them, you can go ahead and trim off any dead material and give it a light prune (as you would if you wanted to harvest the flowers.) Lavenders like getting a trim once or twice a year and that should encourage new growth
