I have this peace Lilly. I got it yesterday and the soil was super saturated, I toke it home and removed all the old soil. Surprisingly there was not root rot. I made a soil mix 1 part tropical potting mix, 1 part perlite and 1 part orchid bark. I potted it up and decided not to water it sense it was really wet when I got it. I went to check on it this morning and it is starting to droop. I decided to water it. Was that the right thing to do?

your new mix might be a biiiit too well draining for a PL — but it will adapt! you’ll probably just need to water a bit more often
