# Just wanted to share my plants next to our bed! Any tips for handling…

Just wanted to share my plants next to our bed! Any tips for handling alocasia in soil are appreciated…. Having major success with them in semi hydro though! Might just have to switch it over lol.

I switched all alocasia over to leca a couple months ago. And then a couple weeks ago I moved them to new semi hydro planters from Wavyleaf. They all seem to be doing well. The planters are best I’ve found for semi hydro. Have 10 more coming end of month. They are from Canada and are always delayed at the border because of our new tariff laws. Adds about 5 days to the time.  
So why are you switching back if doing so well?

I actually STARTED with semi hydro on my alocasia, and i bought one that was a lot smaller and didnt have a good size vase for it. I use lava rock and sphagnum moss for the frydek in the living room thats actually putting out new leaves. The one in soil just seems to drop every leaf it gets…
