# I have a couple of these terracotta self watering planters which have…

I have a couple of these terracotta self watering planters which have been great so far. However, I am confused on how I should go about using fertilizer? Do I mix a liquid fertilizer in the water I put in the reservoir? (I’ve seen mixed opinions on this) Or should I use a slow-release fertilizer stick in each pot?

When you refill the water reservoir you add the fertilizer to the water.
