# Went to a plant market and they had some struggling plants available…

Went to a plant market and they had some struggling plants available for free. I think this one has been overwatered and I’m confident i can save it, but I’m not sure what it is lol. Any ideas?

it’s a peace lily and it’s probably thirsty — but check the roots for rot to be sure

I second eatyacarbs comment. However my peace lily named “saddy” has been kinda droopy for a year 😂 she perked up for a couple months but is slowly dying I think 😔

It was actually severely over watered. I took it out of its pot and nearly all of the roots rotted away!! I cleaned it off and put it in water to grow the roots back and it’s perked up since

Check roots…. Dry water with fertilizer. Wet roots-remove from pot removing some of the wet soil replacing with good quality draining soil. Do not water initially then with water with fertilizer …. Just my opinion
