# Is anyone else having issues with watering in this heat ( UK) I’m…

Is anyone else having issues with watering in this heat ( UK) I’m watering at night \& by the morning the water is completely bone dry. I’ve had to move a few as the soil in some were really hot. I don’t want to overwater so I’m spraying \& don’t want to underwater either, what are you doing, or what would you do?

Is it because of that heatwave in Europe? I’ve heard about that back in the US. I’d suggest trying to water them from the roots up, since it’s the roots that help take in the water. If that doesn’t work, maybe humidify or spray like you said. Good luck 👍

It’s like this every year, this is my first year growing plants indoors. Usually I’m in the garden, I noticed how badly the place needs weeding today. So tomorrow it’ll be hat on \& setting a timer on my phone for every 30 minutes. I ended up in hospital last year with really bad sun stroke , they actually gave me a lot of medication and scans thinking I’d actually had a stroke, \& I only mowed the lawn \& it was only 76f which isn’t that hot.

It’s my own fault for not stopping to have a glass of water, I basically dehydrated myself
