Does putting a plant into a bathroom actually help with humidity? I want to move my palm into the bathroom so it hopefully does even better than it is now.

Also, my bathroom does not put out that much light, I was planning on getting a grow light but I know palms need a lot of light so I’m worried it won’t be enough. Any recommendations?
