What do I do with the old dead heads on my Hydrangea? Can I prune them off shall I leave them completely?

I just leave mine alone. I don’t really know which way is best. So whatever you decide to do.

I don’t know if this applies specifically for hydrangeas, but for a lot of plants if you prune their dead flowers it can cause the plant to put out more blooms. Plus, it can help the plant look more neat.

I’ll give it a go on one of the heads then and see if any new growths come through, they’ve been like this for a few months now so can’t make it any worse by pruning I suppose
