Hey everyone! I live in NOLA and my Bird of Paradise is constantly growing new leaves but I’ve noticed the base of it getting dark and some of the bottom leaves are slightly withered and droopy. Do you all think it’s too hot for it outside?

I don’t know how often you were watering it, but sometimes overwatering can do that just as well as the heat can. Maybe move it inside for a little while, and see if anything changes.

Uhh not everyday, but when I saw the top soil kinda dry out I would water it. And I was thinking I should probably bring it inside as well, thanks!

do you have a watering schedule on Planta? that should help some and they also have recommended places to put it for more tips. glad i could help!

Definitely not too hot, these guys are from southern Africa and Australia
