# Planta app question — Love a good arrangement - but has anyone…

Planta app question — Love a good arrangement - but has anyone figured out a way to have Planta app generate a care schedule that accommodates several types of plants in one pot? Maybe an average of what would be best for the pot as a whole 😂 I know they are all succulent and similar, but an arrangement setting would be nice. 🧐

It’s not quite an arrangement setting but when you search for the plant there’s an option for echeveria mixed varieties. I usually just choose those general categories, so my mixed cactus pot is just set as cactus

I do the same. Just make sure (as you have done) to select plants that are the same water schedule and light levels. Too many times I see arrangements that are doomed to fail because the species vary so much.

There is a “container garden” option for indoor or outdoor, low/medium/high watering levels. When you go to add a plant, and you start typing in the name, type, “mixed container garden,” and about six or so options should come up.

Also, I update the notes for the plant with a list of what varieties/species are in the container so I don’t forget lol

When I made a succulent arrangement I grouped together ones that had similar care instructions. It made it a lot easier.
