# Why is Planta still telling me to water, etc…. my outdoor plants in…

Why is Planta still telling me to water, etc…. my outdoor plants in my garden? I’m in northwest NJ. It snowed today. Any plants that I have in the garden are going dormant and will come back in the spring. I’ve asked this question before but no one had experienced this or knew how to change it. So I figured I’d ask again. Tia!

I believe you can snooze it. I don’t water according to planta schedule.

I don’t either. Never correct but helps me remember to check them

Same here. I will forget. Especially my violets.

planta goes according to a set schedule made for the specific plant and doesn’t necessarily take your specific climate into consideration, i would say the best you can do is continue to snooze or force winterize plant in the app and it will adjust slowly
