My bf mom gave me this Chinese evergreen yesterday. If you own one please share some tips with me. She is directly in front of a southfacing window.

She’s gorgeous!! 😍 Congrats on your new plant baby!

I’d keep an eye on her and just make sure the sunlight from a south-facing window isn’t too intense. If her leaves start looking a little pale or “bleached” I’d move her on either side of the window (or somewhere else) so she’s getting the brightness from the window, but not \*\*direct\*\* sunlight.

Also if you have pets or young children, I’d snip off the inflorescences (flowers) since they’re poisonous if ingested. In my opinion, the leaves are the stars of the plant anyway!
