Hi everyone, I have a Chinese evergreen that’s just getting too unruly in its pot. Is there any advice on how to split them (I think mine is at least 3-4 separate plants at this stage), can they be propagated? Any advice would be amazing, Thank you so much! 🪴

Off topic and I know I'm not helping, but how did you get it to be so... Enthusiastic? I inherited 2 Chinese evergreens that weren't in great shape and since I've started caring for them (3.5 months) they're... Still not in great shape. They're in bright indirect light, and get fertilized with each watering (1/4 strength). I repotted the sadder one with new/more soil and it does look happier but they're leagues from "unruly" and I'd like to change that

Hey hey! I don’t think I did anything crazy, probably fertilised every 2-3months and watered less frequently than I thought? No real clue, I moved house twice and it still just went crazy, so no really proper advice sorry

I'm holding out hope they're still recovering from the epic stress of being watered with the absolute worst water for 2 years 🤣 I did remove a rotting stem while repotting the one, so while I'm not sure it's exactly the same as dividing them, it was relatively easy. The roots were a bit fragile though, so I soaked them before detangling. Good luck!
