Is it best to use liquid fertilizer or the sticks? Any thoughts on benefits or disadvantages from either?

The sticks are better for more consistent long term nutrition for a plant that gets consistent watering. The liquid fertilizer is better for inconsistent waterings, long time between waterings or the reason I use it is forgetting to replace the sticks. At least what little bit I know about them that is the difference. I personally just prefer the liquid fertilizer so that I don’t forget to replace the sticks.

Yea that was my thought. Even though the app says it will remind you when it’s time. Seems like the liquid is much easier. Thank you for your thoughts. Really appreciate it

I believe liquid fertilizer is the best as you have more control over the proportions by cutting it to 50% less than the given recommended amount.

Tbh it also depends on the plants themselves. Some plants like mosses don’t like liquid fertilizer so it just depends on the plant in some cases. So do your research. My favorite to use is fertilizer granules. You still get the “control” of liquid and adding how much you want, while still having longer term fertilization of the sticks.
