# Hello I was given the velvet leaf philodendron as a gift and now……

Hello I was given the velvet leaf philodendron as a gift and now… well let’s just say I couldn’t help my self and got three more plants a money tree, lucky bamboo and a coffee plant. Now with that being said I kinda just went to my local store found pretty/cute plants and purchased not taking into account how the care for some if not all is not beginner friendly but hey you love and you learn. So I was wondering if anyone has had these plants and have any tips or tricks or products that helped them out cause I really don’t want to kill these babies!! Thank you in advance

The lucky bamboo and philodendron micans should be pretty easy to care for but the coffee plant and money plant might be a little difficult.

For your philodendron micans give it medium light best to a bright window but make sure it isn’t getting direct sunlight becuase it can hurt the leaves (this applies to your other plants too).

Lucky bamboo is a great beginner plant. Try giving it medium to medium-bright light and if you want you can take it out of its soil and rinse the roots very well and it can be in only water.

For your money tree give it medium light. It might drop leaves which means you need to tweak the care a little. Medium light should be good for it too.

I would recommend watering your coffee plant twice every week, it loves moist soil. Medium-bright light should work for the plant.

Other than the coffee plant maybe water your plants once a week or when the soil is dry. I would mist your plants with a fine mister once or twice a week.
