# Saw these white foam blocks in my plant as I was doing some general…

Saw these white foam blocks in my plant as I was doing some general maintenance. Started removing them before I realized I didn’t know if they were helpful. Anyone know? Answers as soon as possible, please!

Edit: This pot doesn’t have its own drainage, it might be that?

They shouldn’t be in your plant. Probably meant for drainage. I plant in a nursery pot and place in a decorative pot. That way I have drainage.
