# I recently took over my brother's pothos and it hadn't been doing…

_Pubblicato da °☆♡~Tayz~♡☆° il 2026-02-21_

I recently took over my brother's pothos and it hadn't been doing well. Now it's quite bare. Should I cut the stem and water propagate the leaves and the empty stem in spagnum moss in an empty container? Or is there another way to salvage. I've been contemplating this for a while. TIA! 🫶🌱💚🪴

you could cut and prop, but personally I would pin the nodes down to the soil so cutting wouldnt be involved, and you get a fuller plant!

I’ve had great luck with cloning paste to bring back bare nodes, but honestly, I agree with the pinning it in soil for a fuller plant. Fewer steps and no cutting.
