# Any advice for how to quarantine plants ?? I’m learning the hard way…

Any advice for how to quarantine plants ?? I’m learning the hard way that it’s best to quarantine new plants 😵 one of my plants has thrips and I think it spread to some of my other nearby plants - how far away do these plants need to be from others while quarantining ? Do they need to be in a separate room or is ~6 ft away okay ??

Ideally a separate room, some pests can spread through the air!
