# Does anyone have any thoughts on why my smaller Pilea peperomioides…

Does anyone have any thoughts on why my smaller Pilea peperomioides regularly lose leaves towards the bottom of the plant, even though the leaves appear to be otherwise healthy (not brown or curled)? This has happened consistently when propagating pups, as they start to slowly mature.

My issue seems to be lack of sun. Too little seems to make it drop leaves, but too bright can burn it.

I have the same problem with mine as well. It gets plenty of light from a grow light and is otherwise growing very well. Looks healthy. But the bottom leaves keep dropping as it grows.
