Are you referring to the hole in the leaf?!? This is mechanical damage, usually lack of moisture while unfurling from its sheath, pinched, some sort of damage to the sheath before unfurling, etc.

I don’t believe in misting or humidifiers, my plants get what my house provides. However, every 2-3 weeks-ish, I will go around and do 1 sprits of unfurling leaves to make sure they stay lubricated.

Ok thanks! I was thinking gnats because they have killed my plants in the past.

damage while unfurling. probably low humidity. give unfurling leaves a mist or two to help them out
