# She's been blooming for a while now. A couple at a time, they brown,…

She's been blooming for a while now. A couple at a time, they brown, wilt, I cut them, more grow, very normal and healthy. But she's had these 3 flowers have been green for a few months now. Literally, maybe longer.. Haven't reached that dead stage yet. They're not droopy or soft..new blooms are coming out...should I cut these? Is something "wrong"? What would cause them to green but still live for what seems to be forever?

This happened to mine!!! I asked ChatGPT about it and permanent green around the true flower is a product of excellent lighting.

Hi,
Peace lily flowers are all mutated leaves. That’s why they sometimes show green. Usually it’s from insufficient sunlight (green = chlorophyll). They’re low light TOLERANT plants but they don’t REQUIRE it. They prefer higher light for bright white flowers.
