Is radish supposed to be this dark-colored?

I'm so excited for what's in store. I tried cherry tomatoes as my first veggie last year and even though they came out 6ft tall, they failed miserably. Barely give harvested. So I'm happy to see results of this and my other one, even if they're small.

I do wonder though if I should put more soil in here or something, because it does look a bit deformed right where it touches the soil. I assume because I transfered this, but I transferred my other one too, and that one's little peek-a-boo is a lot brighter of a red than this. And it's leaves are a lot bigger than my other one too. And this one is by itself while my other one isn't. :/

Now idk if Burpees seeds have a bad rep or something but this is a Burpees Cherry Belle radish.
