# Excuse my crusty dusty nails but found this little guy in my house…

Excuse my crusty dusty nails but found this little guy in my house earlier today. I have never seen a praying mantis in real life, so cute, but not cute enough for my house. Meet the new security for my rose bush 🥳

Omg! I have a funny praying mantis story. I was looking at one while it was hanging out in a bush like pretty closely… all up in its business. Anyway I realized as I was moving around looking at it from different angles its little pin point eyes were following me! Super weird to know that a bug was watching me lol but cool at the same time? Hopefully this guy is appreciative of the ride back outside and will take good care of your roses😄

Their eyes purposely look like they’re watching you all the time, but they’re not actually! I forget how their eyes work, but the black dots are not actually pupils.

Really!! Interesting little weirdos. Okay I was honestly a bit disturbed when I realized they were following me so that makes me feel better 😂😂

Insects are the weirdest creatures to me, fascinating but also keep your distance please.

BABY! 😍

Years ago at a pool party my friend and I were scoping out a large praying mantis (prob 6 inches long), and it jumped on his shoulder! My friend was quite surprised!

oh thank god I got a small one. If I found any bug that large i don’t know what I’d do.

I would have separated from my soul like a cartoon character! I appreciate beneficial insects …from a distance!
