# I have 2 birds of paradise but can’t seem to get them to bloom also…

I have 2 birds of paradise but can’t seem to get them to bloom also they are wilting at the edges a lot. How do I get them to bloom? I’ve had them for 2 years.

i don’t have much experience with these plants but it looks like they may want more moisture based on the crispy leaf edges. are you in a really dry or hot climate? a small humidifier or a tray of rocks with water in it may help to add moisture to the air near the plant!  
if it’s not that, is it being underwatered?

From what I read it’s VERY difficult to get a bird of paradise to flower. I Believe the plant has to be very mature (like 8-10 years).
