# Hi! I’ve been growing loquat fruit trees indoor for almost 8 years…

Hi!  
I’ve been growing loquat fruit trees indoor for almost 8 years now. This is one of the most successful trees yet, there are four. Specifically, this one seems to be just over 5 feet. I live in a 6-7 zone, and have been keeping them indoors for their entire life span. They were planted just from seed, and have not been grafted. In my opinion they’re doing great. Recently these shoots have popped up and I don’t know what to do about them. Also, I would like to know more general information about the plants if anyone can provide! (Specifically when to put them outside during summer, how to prune, and if they’re able to flower soon)
