recommendations on plants that can withstand colder temps overnight??

We’re about to move, and my fiance wants a plant in the room but we like to sleep in the cold.

Does anyone have plants in their room with an air conditioner, keep a window cracked, or keep the room around 60° ?? I use to have my plants in the room when it was cold and they seemed fine, but once I put them in a warmer spot they flourished. I don’t wanna stunt their growth, freeze my plants or send them into shock… I’m already worried about moving with them in the winter..

I’d appreciate other plant parents’ opinions !! Please be nice lol

Geranium, Dracaena, Cyclamen, zz, snake plant, jade, some cacti/succulents don’t mind the cold.

Norfolk pine in pots can live in a temperate range from 45°F to 90°F, per the Univ. of Florida’s website. They are decorated and sold as mini Christmas trees in December.

My husband and I keep our room cold. I keep cactus, succulents, and snake plants in there 👍🏻

I’ve found that most tropical plants are pretty good down to 50° or so. Maybe they won’t thrive as much, but technically plants need a rest from the growing season too. Winter happens everywhere to some degree (no pun intended).
Just keep them well lit and they should be fine.
I turn my heat down to 63-65 at night and my plants are still doing just fine. It’s when it gets closer to 40° that I’ve noticed problems.

Thank you! 😂😂😂 no pun intended
