I am not an orchid expert, but I presume those on here that ARE are probably gonna want to see the roots instead of the top view. If you pull all of it out of the orchid bark, what color are they?

Brown dry crispy?

Thick plump white green?

Thanks! I tried pull it all out, they are sadly brown dry crispy and some are black 😭

Ooof. That doesn’t sound too good. If you have either a) a green, healthy leaf, b) a green or white, healthy root, you might be able to chop it all back and save it, but if there’s nothing green or white at all in the whole plant, it doesn’t sound salvageable.

Sorry 😢
