I’d say i’m an experienced plant keeper and i’m looking for plants that can tolerate more shady conditions, because all my window space has been taken up. There’s a lot of different types too, but they’re all pretty similar in care. They’re pretty hardy and so well in north windows. I currently have a variegated peperomia obtusifolia and a watermelon peperomia. This one’s the raindrop one. I just got him yesterday in the mail so his leaves are a little curled, and I’m planning on repotting him, but he’s very cute. I currently have 1 indoor and 1 outdoor Hosta (yes, I know hostas indoor are a little strange), but the indoor one is a Hosta plantain lily elegans and she’s doing great indoors. I have her about 10 inches from the window on a stool. I’m gonna repot her soon and seperate her into smaller pots to fill my window. A good note though is that they typically come in outdoor gardening soil, which is too dense for indoor plants. I repotted mine with all purpose potting mix and a little perlite for better drainage. They do make great outdoor plants too, but need to be planted under shade, typically under or around tree trunks. I know she’s a bit of an odd pick, but I love her leaves and she’s been very low maintenance since I got her. I water her about once a week and mist her two days before I water her. The app says she doesn’t need the leaves cleaned.
