Hey. Just rescued this Aloe Vera a few days ago from The Home Depot. Anyone know what this is? It’s growing on the side. Is it a separate plant?

Looks like a separate plant. It might be a seed that dropped from a nearby plant, or a lost leaf that could sprout. It's likely a succulent, but other than that it's hard to tell
