Do you mean Monstera Adansonii or Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma?

The second one, how do you ever keep the spelling straight😂

😆 either because i talk about the plant fairly regularly, or i had to program it into autocorrect 😅 they like humidity, and don't like to completely dry out in between watering. So don't water until the top layer of soil is dry

So about when I stick my finger in a little ways and its completely dry or should I still be able to stick my finger in a bit and feel dampness?

It should only stay damp near the roots. So If you stuck your finger in to say, the first knuckle, should be dry

All these scientific names😅 I eventually learn how to spell most of them but don't ask me how to pronounce them😂
